I am very pleased with this TV stand. It looks nice, holds well our TV, DVD player, cable box, dvds and audio CDs, as well as it has two drawers where we can store our documents and other stuff.
The weight is kind of on a heavy side, however what do you expect from a press wood!? Having said that my husband and I did not have any trouble to assemble it or to move it. Of course it required some time to do that (it took us about 3 hours) but we just laid all the pieces on the floor and then carefully followed an instruction. As I said above, this is a press wood and it looks like that, however PRICE-is excellent, LOOKS-is great, it is STURDY, not bowed or anything...What more do you want if you want to SAVE MONEY and have a NICE PLACE to live?!

I would highly recommend this product. I also bought a desk from the same collection for our living room. You can also read my other reviews on Sauder Furniture collection for bedroom. We moved to another state and bought lots of furniture from WalMart online and from store.

Great piece of furniture for one bedroom apartment

We really like our new TV Stand. It is the perfect size for our 42 inch Plasma TV. The color also matches the display shelves in the room. It has four nice size selves for the cable box, VCR, DVD Player and stereo receiver. It has 2 large drawers in the bottom for storage. The only criticisim is the description on the box says Quick and easy assemby. It took two of us about five hours to put together. I would say we are both above average in assembling things like this. The instructions consist of diagrams only and no word dirctions at all. They don't even tell you what tools are needed, but a medium and small phillips screw drivers and a hammer are all that are required

Perfect TV Stand

This is a very good piece of furniture for the price and it looks terrific in my small apartment holding a 37 inch flat screen TV. The four shelves are spacious, and the two drawers are great for holding loose items like extra remotes and cables.

Putting it together ought to be fairly easy for anyone who's done flat pack furniture before. The directions are straight forward and Sauder provides online videos to help you over the really tough spots, as well as great customer service. The only flaw is that the directions don't seem to mention that there is a right side drawer and a left side drawer. Before thinking you've somehow made a mistake when first sliding in the drawers, if they don't line up switch them around. Also, while it says you shouldn't use an electric screwdriver, if you pulse very, very gently you can get away with it without damaging the "wood". But just in case, have a flat head and philips head screwdriver around, as well as a lightweight hammer. The drawer handles are cheap brushed nickel plastic, but those can be easily replaced if you don't like them.

Color-wise, the product is as it appears. Sauder's Cinnamon Cherry is nice and dark and matches anything you've got labeled espresso.

I'd definitely recommend this product.

Nice piece of furniture.

I purchased this stand due to the price, color and style. I am not disappointed at all. It weighs 85 pounds so it is substantial and sturdy. The packaging is about 43" long, so it should fit into most cars if you are picking this up yourself but you will need help lifting it. Assembly (for me) was easy with clear instructions. I ordered it site to store so shipping was free and it arrived undamaged and with all parts (except for one plastic sleeve that covers the pins that hold up the shelves). The color is more of a chocolate brown which matches my sofa perfectly. I have no complaints at all and would strongly recommend this to anyone, especially if you have a smaller room that you are attempting to furnish. The style will compliment any decor.

Perfect Choice

I have a 51" TV and I needed a smaller stand because I have a small apartment. All the stands rated for larger TV's were 60" or more in length, I simply don't have that kind of room. When I read the specs on this, I saw that it said it's for 46" TV's but could support any TV up to 90-something pounds so I thought I'd go for it since my TV weighs in at about 47 pounds. And I'm SO GLAD I did! It's PERFECT. It fits in my space beautifully, I was able to put it together by myself in about 2.5 hours (with a drill set on low as not to over-drill the screws in). The directions were the most complete directions I've ever seen with a piece of furniture going as far as telling you where to place the finished sides. I love this TV stand, it was inexpensive, it's highly functional and it fits in my space. More than I ever dreamed of when I bought it.

Beautiful and the perfect size for me

Good quality for the price.  This TV stand fits well with the 42" television and looks great in my guest bedroom.  Would've given it 5 stars had it been 5" taller, although I knew the dimensions before I purchased it.  Love the color and the drawer space.

Wish it was a little taller for MY liking...

I just bought this tv stand and it is nice. I was only disappointed because one of the pieces in the box came broken and it's visible on the top. It wasn't too big a deal though to the building process as it is just a small piece but still, all the pieces should have came in tact. I didn't return it though because I was able to work with the piece anyway and make it fit. All in all this is a nice tv stand for what you pay for. I got a 43" tv that fits nicely on it. It is very sturdy, a little heavy though. The building process wasn't too hard, I'm a 24 year old female that built it on my own. Took about over 2 hours but just because there are a lot of steps to it.
